Today, during a Nintendo Direct, Wave 4 of the Booster Course Pass was announced for a Spring 2023 release date. It looks like a new course called “Yoshi’s Island” will be added along with Birdo. The rest of the courses have not been confirmed yet. The trailer for the segment is below in this post.
Nintendo has announced the Exploration Tour, which will take place on February 7th, 2023 at 10 PM PT! This tour will feature an all-new course called “Piranha Plant Cove,” which is pictured below. Once this tour is available, the new course will be uploaded to our YouTube channel for viewing!
Bring your coats because it is time for the Winter Tour! The Winter Tour will begin on January 24th, 2023, at 10 PM PT and will feature Singapore Speedway 3! Footage of the course will be available on our YouTube channel once the new tour is available.
On this next tour, it looks like we will be heading into space for the Space Tour! This tour will feature an old favorite, Wii Rainbow Road! The Space Tour will begin on January 10, 2023, at 10 p.m. PT. Check out the video below. Our next Mario Kart 8 Deluxe tournament has also been announced! It is called Midnight Dusk, and the date is currently TBD. A date and time will be announced sometime this month. We’re still undergoing website changes, which should be implemented in the near future.

We’ve made it to the end of 2022, so it’s time for the New Year’s Tour! The New Year’s Tour will begin on December 27th, 2022, at 10 PM PT. It will feature older courses such as Sky Garden. A trailer for the new tour is down below. Happy Holidays!
The holidays are among us again, and Nintendo has announced the Holiday Tour! This tour will feature GBA Snow Land and will begin on December 13th, 2022, at 10 p.m. PT. It will also feature other snow-themed courses along with Snow Land! The trailer is below this post.
The third wave of the Booster Course Pass is now available for download in the US! If you haven’t already, you can get the DLC for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe from the Eshop or by purchasing a Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack membership. The new downloadable content contains the Rock Cup and the Moon Cup, along with eight courses from other Mario Kart games in the series. UPDATE: Here are the patch notes for version 2.2.0, which detail changes made to the game.
The release time may have been confirmed by the official UK Twitter account for Nintendo. The tweet states that the time that Wave 3 will release will be 1 p.m. UK time. For people in the US, that translates to 8 a.m. ET and 5 a.m. PT. We will post the Staff Ghosts on our YouTube channel once it is released.
Get ready for a showdown in the next tour of Mario Kart Tour! The next tour will be the Peach vs. Bowser tour, which will feature DS Peach Gardens! This is a chance to take this track for a test drive before it heads onto Mario Kart 8 Deluxe on December 7th as well. The tour will begin on November 29, 2022, at 10 p.m. PT.
