Keep your eyes open next month for Wave 3 of the Booster Course Pass. Today, Nintendo announced that Wave 3 will be available on December 7, 2022! The following courses will be included: As per usual, we will have gameplay footage and staff ghosts on our YouTube channel when the DLC is available.
I wanted to do a quick update for everyone on the changes that will be coming to the website. Over the next few weeks and months, we will be switching over to a forum and away from the current style that we have now. We are doing this because we want more of a community style for this website. We will still be providing news and information on the main page. This will take quite a bit of time to transition, but you will be informed once it is completed. The second thing I want to mention is that the big event we had planned this fall has been cancelled due to time constraints. The next event will be in January, after the holidays are over. It will also be announced at the end of next month. For our remaining Mario Kart time trial guides, we are still working on them, and we recently finished a playthrough of the Mario Kart Double Dash Staff Ghosts. You can check out that video on our YouTube.
Next up in Mario Kart Tour is the Animal Tour! The Animal Tour will feature GCN DK Mountain from Mario Kart: Double Dash!! Also, it is unclear from the trailer, but it looks like Riverside Park may be included as well! This tour will begin on Tuesday, November 15th, 2022, at 10 p.m. PT. The new courses will be available to view on our YouTube channel once they’re playable. The trailer is in this post below.
The unstoppable Macii does it again! Macii is once again taking home the gold by winning the Rushing Rockets tournament! Here are the final results of the tournament: 1st – Macii (47 points) 2nd – BAG (39 points) 3rd – SatinL (10 points) We are currently in the planning stage for the next tournament, but it is not set in stone yet. Keep your eyes peeled for more updates!
The Autumn Tour has been announced as the next Mario Kart Tour tour. The Autumn Tour will feature a New York Minute battle course and will debut on November 1, 2022, at 11 p.m. PT. The tour seems to also feature old favorites such as Los Angeles Laps. You can check out the new trailer below.
The spooky season is upon us with the arrival of the Halloween Tour for Mario Kart Tour! The Halloween Tour will feature GBA Boo Lake and will be available on October 18th at 11 p.m. PT. The trailer is posted below. Also, we finally have a date for our “Rushing Rockets” Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Tournament! The tournament will be on October 29th, 2022, at 8 PM EST. The rules and prize are TBA until the week of the tournament.
The Battle Tour is the next tour to arrive on Mario Kart Tour! The Battle Tour will feature Battle Mode, which was explained in our previous post. The tour will debut next Tuesday at 11 p.m. PT. There is another trailer down below that shows some of the courses for the newest mode.
Version 3.0.0 of Mario Kart Tour is here! This update contains an all-new balloon battle mode for single and multiplayer modes and will be playable in the next tour, which begins next week. There are also many quality of life changes coming in the update, such as being able to play races sequentially, tweaks to the gameplay, and renovations to the shop where you can exchange rubies for drivers, karts, and gliders featured in tours. A full list of the changes in the update is in the video down below. There were also design changes to the official Mario Kart Tour website and social media pages to reflect the upcoming update, as well as a gameplay video, which is below. To download version 3.0.0, you must grab it from the Google Play Store or App Store.
The next stop in Mario Kart Tour will be the Anniversary Tour. This tour will feature cities (similar to the Metropolitan Tour) and will be available on Tuesday, September 20th, at 11 p.m. PT. You can check out the trailer for the new tour down below in this post, which features some of the previous playable city courses.
Wave 3 of the Booster Course Pass just got a release window! Nintendo confirmed today on a Nintendo Direct that Wave 3 will be released in Winter 2022. During the direct, Merry Mountain from Mario Kart Tour and Peach Gardens from Mario Kart DS were shown. You can find the trailer below.
