Mario Kart 8 Deluxe DLC Details

If you’re a Nintendo fan, then chances are you were tuned into the Nintendo Direct that took place a few days ago. One of the most anticipated games that people thought Nintendo would unveil was the new Mario Kart 9. Since this blog will be looking at Mario Kart exclusively, that’s what we’ll be discussing today! While many speculated that this Direct would announce a new Mario Kart 9 video game, Nintendo had other plans. According to the Direct and what seems like Nintendo’s new strategy to promote its Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack membership and game DLC, we’re getting as many as 48 new tracks in Mario Kart 8 rather than a new Mario Kart 9. We know so far that these new tracks will be released in waves of 8 tracks and will be dropped now and then from March 2022 till the end of 2023. Could this possibly receive as much hype as the Smash Bros Ultimate DLC used to each time a new character was supposed to be released? Only time will tell. We also know that players and fans will have an option to either buy these for $24.99 or for free if they have a Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack membership. The people spending $24.99 on it will have access to all the waves that release, which will be a one-time cost. If you’re curious about which eight courses will make up the first wave, we have the exclusive loot for you all to feast your eyes on! You can look forward to these courses from the previous Mario games and history, available on March 18th, 2022: Golden Dash Cup Paris Promenade (Mario Kart Tour) Toad Circuit (Mario Kart 7) Choco Mountain (Mario Kart 64) Coconut Hall (Mario Kart Wii) Lucky Cat Cup Tokyo Blur (Mario Kart Tour) Shroom Ridge (Mario Kart DS) Sky Garden (Mario Kart Super Circuit) Ninja Hideaway (Mario Kart Tour) Are you excited for this DLC drop? Or would you rather have had Mario Kart 9? We’d love to know!

Events Update
