We have some exciting news to share with you today. It turns out that the next big thing from Nintendo might not be exactly what we expected. You know and love Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, right? It’s been our go-to for thrilling races and epic shell throws since it zoomed onto the Nintendo Switch scene. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is more than just a new game; it’s an amped-up version of the classic Mario Kart 8 that first graced the Wii U back in 2014. Yes, our beloved Mario Kart fans, it’s been almost a decade since a brand new Mario Kart title hit the tracks! Now, the buzz in the gaming world is that Nintendo is pouring its biggest budget ever into the next installment of our favorite racing game franchise. According to COMICBOOK, the ‘Mario Kart X’ project is Nintendo’s most expensive development to date. This project is shaping up to be the most spectacular and expensive game Nintendo has ever developed. The word on the street (or should we say, the racetrack?) is that this information comes straight from Zippo, a source known for spilling the beans on gaming secrets. Embrace yourselves for more excitement! The development dream team behind ‘Mario Kart X’ includes the legendary “Nintendo Epd Production Group 9,” teaming up with the wizards at Bandai Namco Studios, who brought us the magic of Mario Kart 8. Talk about a power-up for the development process! And for those of you speculating about the next-gen Nintendo console, whispers in the gaming community suggest that the so-called Nintendo Switch 2 could hit the shelves in 2024. But the million-dollar question remains: will ‘Mario Kart X’ bring us brand new racing courses, or will we continue our high-speed adventures on the beloved tracks we know and love? As we gear up for this next chapter in Mario Kart history, one thing’s for sure: the anticipation is as electrifying as a Lightning Bolt power-up.

Mario Kart 9 – Myth or Reality

Mario Kart has been one of Nintendo’s most famous, most popular, most lucrative and arguably, most loved software. The characters are timeless, the concept is unique and the fan following is always asking for more. However, Nintendo has been actively supporting the last version of the game, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe with confirmed track updates in the form of DLC for the next year so does it even make sense for it to be developing a new game on the down-low? Well, it kinda does. Nintendo always keeps details of game sequences and major game updates a little hush hush, letting the rumor mill spurn out whatever insane gossip it can and hardly ever do they directly address an issue, unless its really important. Mods, hackers and other people go around poking in the firms software and hardware to prove their inane theories that flood the internet. This has been happening for software (BOTW 2?) and hardware (Switch 2? Switch Pro?) so Mario Kart 9 rumors also surface every now and then. Our question is what’ll be different in Mario Kart 9? Personally, we’d want some awesome new (not revamped, revised or remade tracks) some new characters, awesome new and improved power-ups (the old ones are getting dated), and just an overall newish look and feel to the game. What do you think could be new about such a game, if Nintendo is developing one? Do you think it’ll accompany the new hardware? Like Breath of The Wild did for the Switch? Let us know your thoughts on this, we’d love to hear your comments!
