Mario Kart Just Turned 30! How Cool is That?

Mario Kart was officially released on August 27, 1992. Created by Shigeru Miyamoto, now this game is available on various consoles, from Super Nintendo, Game Boy Advance, Gamecube, Nintendo Wii, Nintendo 3DS, Wii U, Nintendo Switch, to Android iOS. This game has a pretty unique cover, with Mario as the mascot, his brothers, friends, and enemies on go-karts wrapped in pseudo-3D tracks in Mario’s world. In this game, each kart is given a choice of various weapons, ranging from turtle shells, sparks, to bananas. They are part of the Mario Kart experience, which was once considered a ridiculous and fun feature. The game is gaining commercial market speed very quickly, with multiplayer features and battles available for the four controller ports. Nintendo has continued to evolve its series over three decades and 14 games, offering different vehicles, copilots, handheld versions, and various tracks. There’s Something Unique About Rainbow Road There are already many tracks that have graced Mario Kart’s 30-year career. But one track stands out more than the others, and that is Rainbow Road. If other tracks -such as Wario Stadium, Baby Park, or Koopa Troopa Beach, are more pure gameplay; then Rainbow Road gives a different vibe. When Nintendo re-created Rainbow Road for Mario Kart 64, the track evolved beyond just a race; it is a celebration. The added elevation and reduced gravity make it feel as if players are floating down a rollercoaster while enjoying a woodwind soundtrack mixed with the synth guitar. It might take a new generation to make Mario Kart games can evolve again into something new. A change in which designers worked to break through various hardware limitations and issues thus further developing this legendary racing game.

Is Getting Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Course and Booster Ticket Worth It?

Mario Kart 8 was released in 2014 on the Wii U console which was then re-released for Nintendo Switch a few years later through various updates to get a much larger audience. This game filled with car racing fun can be enjoyed by all ages and can be played with friends or family, or multiplayer against an online community. Not only is it easy to play, but you can also choose how to play through various control options you want such as adding Wheel Racing if you want. Once you know how to play Mario Kart 8, you’ll be surprised at what it has to offer. Not only does it offer courses that are easy to memorize and complex to enjoy, you can also play various classic characters from Nintendo such as Wario, Toadette, Yoshi, Rosalina, 7 Koopalings, Inklings, and even Animal Crossings villager. You can also play as Mii which can be customized by scanning the available amiibo numbers. The gameplay offered is also very good as you and your opponent race to the finish line while racing cars and utilizing items to improve and defeat your opponents. No matter how skilled you are, anything can happen here which makes every race interesting and every win even more exciting. Overall, it’s kart racing that everyone is sure to love. Differences between Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and the Original Wii U version At first glance, there may not be much of a striking difference between these two versions before trying it. But actually having Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is worth having, especially when coupled with the already available Booster Course Pass.In Mario Kart8 Deluxe, it includes all the DLC from the Wii U version of the game that may be relatively new to those who are new to it and the Battle mode has also been remade to take advantage of real arenas as well as fun modes such as Bob-omb Blast, Balloon Battle, and Shining Thief. In terms of gameplay, you can carry 2 items at once with 2 reintroduced power-ups (Feather and Boo) and there are accessibility options for players who may struggle with controls. Performance-wise, you’ll see more detailed and smoother visuals with fast load times. The only drawback of this game is that there is no Miiverse anymore. Is it worth buying a Booster Course Pass? In early 2022, Nintendo introduced the Booster Course Pass which can be purchased or accessed by subscribing to the Nintendo Switch Online Expansion Plan. Having this pass will unlock additional courses and Grand Prix tournaments which will be released in stages. Each wave includes 2 cup tournaments with 4 new specials and there will be 6 more waves to come to reach an additional 48 courses. Most of these courses come from previous games in the series. So for those of you who have played Mario Kart for a long time, you will look back on some old memories from the previous series. That way, there will be new courses and many new Mario Kart Tour games will be coming.

Wave 2 Now Available Worldwide

Wave 2 of the Booster Course Pass is now available in the US. Wave 2 consists of the Turnip Cup and the Propeller Cup, with a total of 8 courses. Booster Course Pass Wave 2

It’s finally here! Nintendo announced today that the second wave of the Booster Course Pass will be released on August 4th! The second wave includes some familiar courses, including a new one called Sky-High Sundae. You can still purchase the pass on the Nintendo Eshop or by having the Expansion Pak membership.

Ocean Tour Will Drop Next Week

Rumor: Mario Kart Tour Will Be Available on PC

Nintendo is one of the most well-known developers who are still active with the Mario Kart Tour game. Of the current issues, the one that stands out the most is that Mario Kart Tour is currently in testing for the PC version. Nintendo usually has a tough situation when it comes to exporting games to different devices. Mario Kart Tour is a game that has tracks based on real-world locations and has a large fan base. It has supported many players who don’t have consoles to play this famous racing game using their mobile devices. A growing rumor about Mario Kart Within the developer, many fans of the game and information gleaned from various sites found that the game’s new “mouse support” feature was added as an alternative input in that Mario Kart Tour was making its way to PC. Some people think this is just an experiment for development purposes only. Because this year, Google will launch the Google Play Games application for PC, it’s no wonder that all existing Android games can be played using high-performance emulation. This will be a big project where the game will be structured in such a way that it produces a high-quality game that is different from other games in the lower middle market. Does this mean Mario Kart Tour can definitely be played on PC? Until now there has been no official confirmation, but Mario Kart Tour will be a perfect game as one of the applications on Google Play Games for PC. Given the changes Nintendo has made in recent years to announce its title on PC, there’s a lot of potential to be expected from this project and a lot of streamers will be eagerly waiting for the game to come out. Although it may happen, it will not happen in the near future. However, Nintendo has repeatedly added that they are always trying to increase engagement by connecting a wider audience using Nintendo IP via mobile. With the Mario Kart Tour series on the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Booster Course Pass, there have been no changes to strategy and it’s only natural that they would develop this game to play on PC. In addition, the range of mobile games from this platform is also ready to be released on PC. One of the most awaited ones is Pokemon Unite, where it is already available on Nintendo Switch as well as free-to-play mobile devices. Then also Fire Emblem Heroes entered the headlines in 2022 for Nintendo’s mobile games division with a total income of up to $1 billion. Even though Nintendo is notoriously successful with their games being exclusive to their own consoles, it seems the platform doesn’t see any need for them to migrate from console to PC for these games.

Minor Updates and Upcoming Event

I wanted to let everyone know that the site may be going through some minor updates in the coming weeks and that we have started to make progress on the time trial guides. Right now, we have a casual run of time trials in our Super Mario Kart section and on our YouTube channel. Also, on Super Mario Kart’s anniversary, which is August 27th, 2022, we will be holding our next tournament called the “Momentum Cross” tournament! This tournament will be in mirror mode, and the courses and prizes are TBD until the week of the event. UPDATE: The tournament will now be 150 CC due to feedback. UPDATE #2: This tournament is now on September 3rd, 2022, due to another issue or problem that I have to deal with on that date.
